What is in your lotion?

Do I need to moisturize?

Winter is coming and its time to whip that dry skin into shape…. Or not let it get dry in the first place. After I had Wesley I experienced extremely dry skin and I was so uncomfortable…. I tried everything in the store. As an ingredient reader I was not happy with those long long lists of ingredients. The first chance I got I formulated lotions using great ingredients for all the different ways I needed moisture.

What is in Breezy Quarters Hand & Body Lotion?

Ingredients include: Water, Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Shea Butter, Emulsifying Wax, Stearic Acid, Optiphen, Fragrance

What do all of those things do?

Water – allows the oils to be absorbed quickly, and go on without being greasy.

Coconut Oil – softening, moisturizing and easily absorbed

Olive Oil – mild, great for sensitive skin

Shea Butter – antioxidants, skin protecting, deep moisturizing

Emulsifying Wax – derived from Palm oil, bonds water with the oils to spread them out to be easily absorbed

Stearic Acid – makes the lotion thicker and fluffy

Optiphen – preserves the lotion to prevent any mold growth.Necessary for any product containing water.Used at 1% of the recipe.

Fragrance – always Dibutyl Phthalate free or a natural essential oil.Used at 1% of the recipe unless the variety is unscented.
